Hi! I’m Sadie and I'm a junior at Staples High School. I decided to take this class because of my love for cooking. Growing up, I would always cook with my family whether it was my dad or my grandma, and I still continue to cook with them or alone in my free time. From this, I decided that my theme for the semester is going to focus on Northern Italian Food. I chose this theme because my grandma, who I constantly cook with, grew up there until she immigrated to the US when she was 16 years old. I'm very interested in learning about the food that she grew up with and being able to cook it. My goal from this is to achieve a better understanding of this specific cuisine and to be able to cook these recipes well, hoping that one day I can cook them for her.
