I had my first ever parent-teacher conference in preschool. You'd expect some general comments about how "Grace is such a nice girl," or "she's doing well in math!" Instead, all my teacher said was "Grace is a good eater." 

This has haunted me for over a decade, an encounter brought up way too often by my parents and brother.  Now, I'm a senior at Staples excited to be sharing my culinary palate and cooking skills!

I'm a cheerleader and amateur golfer, scientific researcher and hospital volunteer. In Food Lit, I'm looking into a very different topic, although still very dear to me. Throughout the years no matter what new activities I've dipped into, animated TV shows, films, and video games have kept me company.

I am interested in recreating and revamping these animated foods as my Food Lit topic. I hope this brings a sense of joyful nostalgia or even newfound interest from my readers and fellow chefs.
