Why We Should Save The Atlantic Ocean

The Atlantic Ocean is the 2nd largest ocean in the world which is why it provides so many fish. Yes, the Atlantic Ocean is important, but because of global warming sea levels are rising which is threatening coastal populations too(www.nationalgeograpic.com). This problem is critical because not only is this affecting marine life but it is also affecting the human populations. If this continues then the Atlantic Ocean will be destroyed and if it is the animals will immediately die out and it will be so dry that fires will span throughout continents, killing many people. How would you feel if people died all over the world just because you use just a little too much gasoline(www.science.howstuffworks.com)?

Thankfully, Ocean Conservancy is already trying to help(www.wikipedia.com). Young kids and adults are participating to help our ocean by picking different plastics they see at the beach and using reusable water bottles instead of plastic(www.goexplorenature.com). Many adults are trying to buy electric cars which are much better for the environment instead of gasoline-powered cars. This is extremely helpful because with fewer plastics in the seas then fewer small marine animals could get tangled and it won’t pollute the ocean. Similarly with fewer gasoline-powered cars climate change could decrease which is vital for the Atlantic Ocean (all oceans). You can donate money to Ocean Conservancy to help Oceans worldwide(www.wikipedia.com). How would you feel if marine animals around the world would die because of littering?
