Welcome!
The Academy of Engineering & Information Technology is a small learning community within Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School. The Academy model provides an environment for academy teachers to develop interdisciplinary activities that makes learning relevant and captures the interest of students. Through real-world, hands-on experiences, the Academy exposes students to careers within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

What’s a Career Academy?
What’s a Career Academy?
A Career Academy is a small learning community within a large comprehensive high school. In Career Academies, students learn in smaller groups that help build multi-year relationships with teachers and other students. Specialized classes teach the skills that students need to succeed in college and within a career. Students can earn income while getting valuable job experience through their internships and summer jobs.
