Academy of Engineering Course Requirements
Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School is the only school in Wake County who offer courses using the nationally recognized Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Curriculum. Students focus on the process of defining and solving a problem by applying the Engineering Design Process. The PLTW curriculum was designed to create an engaging, hands-on classroom environment and empower students to develop in-demand knowledge and skills they need to thrive.
ALL AOEI students are required to complete a 120-hour, for credit, internship prior to graduation to receive recognition and honors.
