Why are bamboo and pandas so important?

“Bamboo can rapidly sequester greenhouse gasses in biomass and soil. It removes carbon from the air faster than almost any other plant species and can thrive on inhospitable degraded lands. A grove of bamboo also releases 35% more oxygen than an equivalent grouping of trees, providing clean air for all to breathe”.(one earth.org) This is why we need to protect it.
PANDAS
According to homeworkstudying.com, “If pandas were to go extinct China's bamboo forests would greatly suffer since pandas help spread bamboo seeds that they pass in their feces.” Pandas going extinct would also greatly affect China’s industry because they use bamboo to make utensils, medicine, food, and fuel (homeworkstudying.com).
