Define The Problem
A wealthy man who lives in Ocracoke wants our school, AFHS, to design a sustainable putt-putt course. Ocracoke is a remote island that needs to reuse all of its resources as it is difficult for them to get resources from outside the island. As a result of this our golf course needs to be sustainable and reusable. Our task is to make an 18 hole golf course, but only half of the 36 groups will get to include their golf course in the final course.
Criteria
Every team must design a unique Putt-Putt Mini golf hole
Each Putt-Putt hole must have a theme related to Engineering / Simple Machines
Each Putt-Putt Hole design must include 1 PSA per group member related to sustainability & conservation
Each Putt-Putt hole needs to incorporate at least 3 different types simple machines
Each Putt-Putt hole needs to have an automated action powered by an Arduino Board (Ex. LED light turns on when the ball passes a certain point)
Each Putt-Putt hole prototype must fit into a 18” x 18” x 18” cube
The Putt-Putt hole cup needs to be 1 inch in diameter

Must use arduino board in some aspect of the design

Wood (toothpicks, dowel rods)

Foam (or other packing materials you save from deliveries)
Any other material you or your family can spare
