Whats happening to                 Green Turtles

Whats really going on:

Isn't it surprising that green turtles are endangered? According to https://conserveturtles.org “There are between 85,000 to 90,000 nesting females.” Green turtles are being threatened by getting caught in shrimp trawl and drowning.  On the website worldwildlife.org, it says “In West Africa green turtles are killed in use of medicine and traditional ceremonies.” Without green turtles the natural world (ecosystem) would be affected! “Green turtles graze on seagrasses and algae. This maintains seagrass beds and makes them more productive. (worldwilfe.org) This means that without green turtles seagrass wouldn't be healthy. When Green turtles do this, they benefit valuable species such as shrimp, lobster and tuna.” This makes me feel bad because green turtles do so much for us just for them to be endangered. How would you feel if you were a green turtle getting killed despite doing so much for people, and the ecosystem?!
