The Congo Basin is one of the biggest rainforests on earth. Humans are destroying the rainforest by deforestation because of demand for natural resources and illegal wildlife trade. I don’t think it’s fair for the rainforest and the people who live there because we should not be illegally taking rare animals from the rainforest, there’s a reason it's illegal. This rainforest also gives us many important resources like oil and minerals such as diamonds, gold and coltan. (www.worldwildlife.org). Coltan is used to make cell phones and without coltan we could not communicate with each other.
