Threats to mountain gorillas

Only about 880 mountain gorillas are left in the wild. If you count the ones in captivity there are only about 1,000 of these special creatures. According to https://www.worldwildlife.org/, there are very few mountain gorillas due to habitat loss, human diseases and human violence. If we lost these animals the food chain would be badly disrupted in the Congo Basin. Don’t let these primates go extinct, they keep the lungs of the planet healthy.
