Watercolor Samples

This assignment was really fun because we got to experiment different techniques and all of them were very interesting. My personal favorites were Wash on Wash, Alcohol and Gradient. I liked all the color combinations and process to make such techniques.

Watercolor Wheel

This assignment was pretty simple because all we did was combine colors to get the wanted tones, which was pretty easy if you followed the instructions given.

Blueberries

For this assignment we had to paint fruits with watercolors, I picked blueberries because they are my favorite fruit and i like the shape and i also wanted to be creative with the eggplant which in my opinion does look like an eggplant and i think th shades could be done better and get the tones in a better look.

Watercolor Landscape

For the watercolor landscape i decided to do a flower field with a sunset and some hills, i think this art work would look better if i did the green of the hills different shades and mark the flowers so the glow more. Overall this assignment was very fun and challenging but i enjoyed it a lot.

Acrylic Paint Food

For this assignment I wanted to do something different from the rest, everyone was doing strong meals and since Christmas is coming up i decided to make gingerbread cookies. In my opinion this painting looks really look and it really took a while to make because i had to wait for the paint to dry out before putting another coat. I liked the final result and i think it looks very pretty. I enjoyed working on this assignment a lot.
