During this activity I learned how to shade an object to make it look 3D. I learned the use of colors and how to make them look realistic to my diorama.
My first steps to making my diorama is I got a box and painted the insides of the box white and black and the bottom brown. Then I created bleachers from a cardboard box and also created ramps. On the ramps I hot glued cars. This created a mud race track.
The theme of my diorama is like a race track. It looks the way it does because I like to go mudding and cars.
I demonstrated the values by using either a different lighter or darker color. It shows where the lighting is coming from, from the natural lighting.
I improved on how light or dark I made the shadows and how bright certain colors were. I got good feedback from my teacher and my friends and they said it looked good.
