Intermediate Video; Book Review
I proposed to do a book review of “A Million Kisses In Your Lifetime” by Monica Murphy. I ended up accomplishing a book review. I didn't really add anything extra into my book review, except adding in a picture of the painting. Other than that I did everything I planned on doing. My video contained time lapses of me reading, me explaining what I just read and how I felt about it. I put in a visualization of the painting when I was talking about it. I learned how to add in pictures of things I was explaining, I learned how to cut unwanted things out of my video and how to add in music of my choice. My strengths were explaining how I felt about what was happening throughout the course of the book. One of my weaknesses was probably getting the motivation to actually take the videos of myself. I think the video itself is really successful, a lot of work is put into it and also a lot of time and effort. During my video I did have days I wanted to give up but I kept putting in as much work as I could. I faced many challenges throughout the whole project. Like finding the motivation, finding more things to accomplish on my video, getting the lighting correct throughout the video and the sound. Making sure the videos were in the right order and saying the right things. I would improve by finding a better idea than just a book review. I feel like I could accomplish something more interesting than me reading and explaining how I feel about a book.
This photo is an HDR photo and you can tell because everything looks very detailed and sharpened and bright. This process was pretty easy once I knew what I was doing. I took this photos by bracketing which mean different exposures, the first photo I took was I think -2 and it was underexposed the second photo was at 0 and it was the correct exposure, and the last photo I took was at +2 and it was over exposed. Then I merged them in photo shop and it created this picture.
This photo is a panorama you can tell because of how long it is and how many objects and things are in it. The process it took to take this was kinda difficult. But I had to take a photo with the camera and then take another photo and make sure they over lap, I did that 4 or 5 times. Then I went into photo shop and merged them together, then manually fixed them and blended them together.
Stop-Motion Assignment
We proposed to create the story of Moana with the most important scenes. We accomplished everything that we wanted too. We added a volcano and fire to one of the scenes to show Maui and Moana defeating Te Fiti. The content was the main things that happened in Moana’s life when she grew up and decided to go explore on her own. A little girl growing up and doing what she wanted to do as a child. In our story it shows teamwork. We learned how to use premiere, we learned how to be patient and compromise. We learned how to make different scenes for different acts in the movie. The strengths are how many scenes we made, and the amount of time was put in to create the scene. One of our weaknesses was the clay not cooperating and getting hot and melting. We faced a challenge getting the clay to cooperate and not using our time wisely to take photos, we focused more on creating the scenes. Use our time wisely and don't use the wrong clay.
