I wanted to be a peer counselor because I understand the struggle that goes along with being a teenager, and I want to help people work through the things that they may be experiencing. I was always the advice friend, and I liked being able to help people or being able to solve a problem for someone else. The biggest things I want from this year is the experience that comes with the practice. The more I understand how to handle situations, the better I’ll be able to help, and vice versa.

I really wish to pursue the fields of psychology or neurology. My favorite activities are dance and Boy Scouts. I love to watch Monk, Psych, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Seinfeld. I believe that peer counseling is a nice opportunity for me to help other people and I am glad that our school offers this program!
