TIme Capsules

The main idea that I tried to put into my artwork is for me to learn how to draw different shadings and shapes just with a pencil.

The work was made with a standard graphite pencil and a mechanical pencil. I tried to keep my materials simple to see how I could draw without a bunch of different materials.

My favorite drawing is the one I made of the lava lamp because it looks the closest to what I was going for. In my opinion the way that the shading is made, the drawing doesn't look boring and bland even though it doesn't have any color because of the way it looks 3D.
