Artist statement: For this piece I took a picture of my dog and drew him using charcoal and a little bit of ink. I mainly used shading and blending techniques but as you can see at the beginning and towards the end my tortillan was having some trouble so it didn't come out as I hoped. But overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out it looks somewhat like him.
