Assemblage

Artist statement: Well, the first thing was brainstorming, I had been wanting to make a boat all year so it was easy then I cut out the floor of the boat using a box cutter. Next, I cut out the cardboard sidewalls as strips and glued them together on the boat floor. After that, I cut out and glued the stern wall down. Finally, it came to the mast and the sail, for the mast I cut out the same type of strips as I did for the walls then glued them all together and glued it to the floor, then last I cut out the sail from construction paper and glued it on.
