Foundations of art

During the year my artwork has improved a lot. i started the year not being able to draw myself a lot and not really knowing what to do at all.  The first thing i learned was to box out the paper and go box by box.  The first time i did that it was really bad because i didn't know what to do. But everytime i figured out how to do it and i started to get good at it. I also didn't know how to paint at the beginning of the year and overtime through the year i figured it out more and more.  I also see a lot of improvement form y first piece of art to my last piece of art and i like it better now. 

What I found challenging this year is was painting, i thought before the year i would like ti a lto and it would be easy to do. But the first time we painted i realized it would not be easy at all. As the year went on i tried to get better. Another challenge i faced was staying focused during when i was making the art and when i had to finish something  i always forgot to take it home. I also struggled to do the artist statements and would always forget that they were due and they would always be late. 

What i am most proud of this year was my improvement over the year form the beginning from the end. At the beginning of the year i didn't know what i was doing at all and know i know how to paint and many different things.  The artwork i am most proud of is my midterm project. It was very fin to make ahd i liked the way it turned out. 

My goal for art over the summer is to get better at painting.  I had never done art at all except for art class but i think it would be fun if i tried to.  I also want to try to draw over the summer because i find it relaxing and i also want to get better at art and hopefully be very good by the start of next year
