Space

I had to focus on negative and positive space for the drawings and also my painting. I used a series of lines to focus on light and dark lines to create a gradient from light to dark on my zentangle. I used an HB pencil for the outline of my hand.

For my leaf painting I used watercolor and a black paint pen, I thought adding black to the leaves made them stand out more. I used a gel black pen to make my zentangle and I also used a sharpie.

I took me a second on painting to come up with an idea, I really liked how I had done it last year, I did want it to be a little different, so I used different watercolors and obviously different leaves. I actually really like this piece and the leaves in general.
