WhatchamaDRAWit

The story of my whatchamaDRAWit was to create the drawing prompt “Monster riding a unicycle while drinking a milkshake”. I chose to make this big eyed “monster” due to the fact, that was the first thing that popped into mind.

To make my art I grabbed a piece of paper I had from a sketchbook I used to use. I used a pencil to make the base of my drawing, which I went over in sharpie. I used colored pencils to color in my drawing after.

It took me awhile to find what color I would like my drawing to be. I didn’t want to have a scary “monster” just an abnormal one. I experimented with the perspectives of the unicycle, whether it would be a side or front angle. I came to the conclusion of a front angle so you could see the monster fully. my artwork evolved when I decided to add color instead of leaving it just pencil and sharpie. My next step could have been making it more realistic or spending more time to make it look better.
