The main idea with my piece was drawing negative space and for the zen tangle drawing, we needed to do different patterns and different shading. for my leaf negative space drawing, I did a fall background because the leaves reminded me of fall and Halloween. for my zen tangle, I did it in a butterfly because butterflies have always been my favorite.

For these pieces, I used graphite, pen, colored pencils, and markers

I used my imagination for the leaf piece and the leaves took my mind to fall and Halloween. for the zen tangle piece I chose a butterfly and I did little spots inside the butterfly to act as a pattern in the butterfly. for the negative space hand drawing, I studied my hand and drew it to my best ability with also leaving the blank space in the middle.
