Sgraffito

The main idea with this piece was to use a linoleum block and carve something we created, we then had to make prints from this linoleum block using ink and paper, essentially creating our own stamps.

the main idea with my clay sgraffito was to make a ring tray, and then carve out my own pattern in the clay after it was fired.

I used a linoleum block, black sharpie, ink, and paper for this project.

for my sgraffito clay carving i used clay, clay paint, and a carver to carve my work.

these pieces didn't take me took long but it wa definitely a process.
