Beautiful Oops

The main idea with my piece was space because when I looked at the inkblot I saw a lot of little marks all over the paper that made me think of little pieces in space. I love science and last year in science I learned about space so once I saw this ink paper it instantly brought my mind to space. I drew a strawberry in the corner because the orange circle on my paper reminded me of orange so I wanted to be cohesive with my fruit and planets.

For this piece, I used graphite to sketch my work so I know where I wanted everything to go. then I outlined the inkblots in watercolor markers in the colors I imagined them to be. I used colored pencils for my strawberry and my background because they came out more vibrant.

I researched a little bit about space and the different planets so I could know the different colors and all that. I also revised my planets a few times because i didn't like the shapes or where they where placed on my paper.
