In this section, you will create the final copy of your physical feature map. Use the paper your parents picked up from school to create this final copy. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS STEP BY STEP TO COMPLETE YOUR FINAL COPY. TAKE YOUR TIME
Step 1: Draw the Outline of your Country

Take up as much room on the paper as possible. Don't leave a lot of space for the oceans on the outside.
Name your country in the top left corner of your paper.
Example: Bechardlandia, Bechardtopia, Republic of Bechardia, or something else from your Brainstorm list.

Step 2: Add your Coastline Physical Features

Name and label the following physical features in your final copy:
4 Peninsulas
1 Isthmus
1 Cape
Archipelago (minimum of 4 Islands)
Label 1 ocean
1 sea
Label 1 strait
Label 1 bay
Step 3: Add your Landform Physical Features
Step 3: Add your Landform Physical Features
Name and label the following physical features in your final copy:
Add 2 mountain ranges
Label 2 peaks within your mountain ranges
Add 1 Forest
Add 1 Valley
Add 1 Desert
Add 1 Plain
Add 1 Plateau
Add 1 Volcano (on the archipelago)
Add 2 lakes
Add 2 National parks (maybe in your mts, for, des, plain, plat, lakes…)
Step 4: Add your River Systems Physical Features

Name and label the following physical features in your final copy:
Add 2 rivers (start in logical areas and flow to the ocean)
Add 2 deltas to your main rivers
Add 7 tributaries to feed into your 2 main rivers
Add a canyon that has a river running through it
STOP! MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS APPROVED BY ME

Colored Pencil are ideal, if you want to use thin tip sharpies - get them approved by me.
Trace your Coastline in black colored pencil (coastline of your islands too)
Trace rivers and lakes in blue colored pencil (shade in lakes with blue colored pencils)
Shade in or trace the rest of your landforms with different colored pencils
Lightly shade in landform areas with colored pencils so I can still read your names.
(You don’t have to color in your oceans)
