Volunteer Opportunities

Below are some ideas for community service opportunities. If you find a great community service opportunity which could be added to the list please email Mrs. Uden:

1. ​Deanna Rose Farmstead:  Help at various locations or with animals on the farm. (volunteer application)

2. Center of Grace:  Help serve meals. contact Nancy Corden at ncwx63@yahoo.com or Deb "Burphie" Brand at burphie@gmail.com

3. Harvesters:  Variety of activities - check their website.

4. Henry's Haul:  Collect hot wheels.

5. Johnson County Christmas Bureau: During November and beginning of December you can volunteer helping clients shop.

6. Metro Lutheran Ministries:  Help pack food boxes. contact 816-931-0027

7. Mission Southside:  A local church that has opportunities throughout the year.

8. Olathe Head Start:  The Olathe Head Start program needs help with childcare during their parent meetings. 

9. Olathe Parks and Recreation:  Help move snow for Olathe residents who require assistance.

10. Ronald McDonald House - Check their website for opportunities which include cooking, making snack bags, or collecting donations.
