Your course requests will be used to determine course offerings and staffing. Please make sure that you take the process very seriously and choose classes and alternates that you want to take next year. If you choose to request an elective change, you may automatically be placed in one of your alternate requests.
Teachers made recommendations for English, science, math and social studies courses. Teachers considered the following criteria to promote the appropriate academic balance of challenge and success; test averages, assignment completion, attendance, overall work ethic, and current course placement. Please remember that teacher recommendations are motivated by their desire to see students succeed. Questions about student's placement should be directed to the students current teacher.
Parents/guardians wanting to request to override teacher recommendation and have their student moved up a level (ex. English 10 to Honors English 10) can complete the Parent Request for Change of Course form and return it to their student's counselor.
Students and parents/guardians wanting to request a level down (ex. Honors English 10 to English 10) can email their school counselor.
