Olathe students who have completed their freshman year may earn initial credits through the Olathe School District’s eAcademy. eAcademy offers a limited selection of courses and provides scheduling flexibility for students participating in two or four-year academies or performing arts programs.
During the school year, students must be enrolled in a full seven-period schedule at Olathe North and may take one additional 0.5-credit eAcademy course in the fall and/or spring semester at no cost. During the summer, students may be eligible to take up to two 0.5-credit courses. Summer courses have a $200 fee, with Health courses costing $50.
All eAcademy enrollment requires counselor approval. Students interested in eAcademy should email their school counselor to determine if this option supports their goals and to begin the enrollment process.
