Capstone Step 4

Evidence of Work

This step included planning experiments for when we had a prototype project. We decided on testing surrounding range of motion and durability when holding weight and being under tension. We created a report detailing our testing plans for the prototype once it is constructed. During this step my group also began to test with the 3D printer, getting closer to actually being able to print the prototype.

Reflection

This portion of the project was hard because we didn't have a prototype to test so all of our deliberating was entirely theoretical. Knowing this, I think something we did well was critical thinking as we began to research and learn about how to 3D print so we can make the prototype in the future. On top of this, planning everything without practical application definitely lent itself to critical thinking as we tried to discern what the best steps forward were.
