My name is Logan and I am currently a freshman at San Marin. In CCR this year we took the Indigo Test identifying different aspects of our personalities. According to this test, my top motivators are Social and Theoretical, meaning I am motivated by helping others and learning new things. Another statistic was the DISC scores. I scored a low D, low dominance, but a high S, or a high steadiness. Overall, I like to help others in any way I can while also learning new things. I am easy to instruct and will follow rules with a clear path to success.
University of California Davis
UC Davis is located in Northern California and is a public university. The acceptance rate is 39% and there are currently 30,982 undergraduate students enrolled. I would be interested in going to this school because it is in a warm environment and there is a campus life. I would also be able to major in nursing science, allowing me to further my education on track for a career.
University of Michigan School of Nursing
University of Michigan is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan and is a public university. The acceptance rate is 23% and there are currently 31,266 undergraduate students enrolled. I would be interested in going to this school because it is a large school with high academic competition. I would want to attend the School of Nursing because it is specific to the career I want and would allow me to further my education.
Registered Nurse
I would love to become a nurse. It would align with both my motivators because I am constantly interacting and helping people while constantly learning. It would also align with my DISC scores because I do not have to be dominant within the workplace and can follow the rules and guidelines. A nurse provides and coordinates patient care, educates patients and the public on various health conditions, and provides emotional support and advice to patients and their families.
Dietitian / Nutritionist
Another job that interests me is becoming a Dietitian. This job would align with both of my motivators because I am helping people while learning new things. It would align with my DISC scores because of the organizational and analytical skills required along with compassion and thoughtfulness. Dietitians/Nutritionists are experts in the use of food and nutrition to promote health and manage disease.
