Our Task
Our prompt was to create a moving vehicle going exactly (or close to) 5 meters by using and alternative source of energy. We then had to analyze the data, and create graphs as well as a presentation to give to Hyundai. For our build design, we decided to stick to the basics, with a base piece of wood, two axles with 2 wheels on each side, and at a wing to extend the tension of the rubber bands. We used rubber bands to propel our car by attaching one end to a screw nailed to the front of the car, and wrapped the other end of the rubber band to the axle in the back. Along the way, we made several modifications, which can be viewed in the presentation below, and worked to create graphs based on time, distance, acceleration, and velocity. All other content can also be found here, including kinetic and spring potential energy, along with other physics concepts that played a role, like friction. Here are the links:

My Reflection
In my opinion, I think the final product is very good and I am happy with what we have done. We did not work the best as a team though, with it being hard to cooperate and communicate. In a personal perspective, I think I did a good job contributing to the car along with analyzing the results and making calculations.
