Intergalactic Planetary
For this project each group consisted of 2 people. We were tasked with creating 5 different models representing planets based on new information we were given while creating each model.
For our first model we were tasked with creating a diagram of all we knew about the planets, our attempts were a bit sloppy because we didnt remeber much about which planets went where and their distance. Our second model was different because we were given a little knowledge about the order of the planets and just about how far apart they were. For our third model we were given the exact measurements of the distance from each planet and we had to create our own system of measurements to get a to scale size, we also added moons, and astroids.
This was our model four, we were tasked with finding a phenomenon and pattern with some of the information we were given. My partner and I chose the phenomenon orbital speed relative to distance from the sun. We made a graph and figured out a equation to try and pinpoint about what the orbital period.
This is our model five, for this we had to find the orbital period, velocity and our own body weight for made up planets X and Y. We were given different equations to solve each of them and its shown on the photo.

Newtons law of gravitation-Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation states that every particle attracts every other particle in the universe with force directly proportional to the product of the masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. F-GM1m2/r^2 is the formula.
Mass of planet- Amount of matter in a planet
Obliquity to Orbit: the tilt of the planet when it is orbiting
Radius of Planet: this is the distance from the center of the planet to the surface of the planet
Theory of Relativity: moving close to the speed of light slows down time
Reflection
During this project I learned how to take initiative and problem solving skills. I think I did well with communication and collaboration. Two things I could work on for the next project is staying focused because I feel like in some parts of this project I was a little of task. I also could work on trying a little harder on the models and not rushing into anything because I think I kind of just went with whatever and didnt to alot of thinking for the drawing and modeling aspect of this project.
