Equipment used in the training program must be of the type and quality found to provide training to meet the program goals and performance objectives. The facilities must be appropriate for the variety of learning activities which occur in the LPS classrooms.
Our classroom accommodates up to 30 students and is designed for flexibility and collaboration. We utilize portable chairs and tables, allowing for easy reconfiguration to support group projects, class discussions, and hands-on skill development within the classroom setting.
For security and administrative efficiency, the classroom is equipped with locked file cabinets and instructor desks, ensuring the safe storage of confidential records and essential materials. Our skills lab is equipped with an advanced ambulance simulator, along with a comprehensive collection of medical and Fire Technology supplies. This setup provides students with a realistic, hands-on training experience that enhances their practical skills. This dynamic learning environment ensures students gain both the theoretical knowledge and practical expertise necessary for success in emergency response and firefighting careers.
Our classroom is equipped with everything necessary under California Department of Education.
We have projector screen for videos and lectures, as well as a moveable, touch screen ViewSonic that can be utilized both in the didactic room and the skills lab.
Students have school provided Chromebooks as well as ample charging stations.

Program Safety and Equipment
The classroom is equipped with essential fire safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems, and evacuation plans. Students receive comprehensive training on the proper use of fire extinguishers.
Lab Safety
Strict safety standards are introduced, posted and adheared to at all times while utilizing the lab.
Accident Reporting
Accidents are meticulously documented in accordance with established protocols, including the La Habra High School Accident Report AND NOCROP accident reporting.
Emergency Procedures Awareness
Students and staff receive regular training on emergency protocols. La Habra High School conducts drills for fire evacuation, lockdowns, and earthquake preparedness.
Compliance with State and Federal Safety Standards
Fire inspections are conducted annually, and La Habra High School consistently maintains full compliance with all required safety inspections.
Instructor staff ensures that all supplies are properly inventoried and restocked promptly. Office supplies are ordered though NOCROP administrative assistances. Training supplies and skills consumable items are inventoried on a monthly bases and restocked promptly as needed.
