Chapter Fundraising Committee
Do you want to get more involved in the fundraising efforts of LM-TSA? If so, join the Chapter Fundraising Committee (CFC) to start planning and developing fundraisers for our chapter and the American Cancer Society. As a member of the CFC, you will work closely with the Chapter Officer team and advisors throughout the fundraising process. You will have the opportunity to brainstorm ideas and express your opinions on fundraising initiatives, attend meetings to discuss tasks and individual roles, create promotional materials to market events, and serve as a fundraising leader for events. In this committee, you can use your creativity and innovation to ensure the success of LM-TSA's fundraisers.
Outreach Committee
The Outreach Committee is a new committee dedicated to running and expanding LM TSA's community outreach programs and activities, including FIRST Lego League Jr., Merion Robotics, and STEM Night. Due to the quarantine restrictions, the Outreach Committee is planning on transitioning much of its activities online to continue fulfilling its purpose of furthering STEM learning in the community among young students.
State Officer Candidate Committee
The State Officer Candidate Committee (SOCC) is a standing committee that selects State Officer candidates to run on behalf of the LM-TSA chapter. Due to the Pennsylvania TSA rule in place allowing only three State Officer candidates to run per year, the SOCC must elect three individuals to run as candidates for State Office during annual elections if more than three apply.
