On March 19th and 20th 2024 I was able to talk about my experience in the Global Citizens Program with incoming freshmen. Me and my peers presented all the fun activities we have been a part of and how our work affects the community. they were very attentive and asked lots of questions, I hope I will see some of their faces next year!
During June of my sophomore year, I attended the Mass Star Leadership Conference at Lasell University. At this conference I was with a bunch of other sophomores from all over the state learning how to best help our communities and become an active leader! I'm so grateful for this opportunity and the ability to share and apply all that this conference taught me about leadership.
As an upperclassman, I have the unique opportunity to mentor a group of underclassmen in the program. Throughout our quarterly meetings I have been able to connect with these exceptional students, and help guide them during their time in the GCP. I have given them advice on classes, capstone projects, community outreach, and any other issues they need help with.
