With the fall of Galeem and Dharkon the forces of light and darkness have fallen. A portal opens up and the world becomes distorted. All the spirits are sucked into the portal and the ground starts to crack. Master Hand comes out of the portal and hits all the fighters. 14 spirits come out of the portal and they have been returned to normal. (Our newcomers) Tails begins to speak. He says that when Galeem and Dharkon died that some fighters now have tokens of light and others tokens of darkness. Some can have many, but they all go to a certain character. The tokens are split in half so both characters must be obtained. Then all of the fighters start to get sucked in except for Mario and Paper Mario. Paper Mario has no token, but Mario has multiple tokens of light, you enter the portal.

Now with half of the tokens put together you now have enough power to see who sent this black hole. Shulk is given power and he now sees a small part of the future, Tabuu is alive! He is still trying to rule the universe and while Galeem and Dharkon were bad they seemed to keep Tabuu at bay. They needed all the tokens in order to save their universe.

Now with all the tokens put together you now can get to Tabuu. You give more power to Shulk and he sees the whole future. He is still in the Subspace Emissary. His wings have grown back and he looks very powerful. Sonic may not be able to ambush him this time. A select team must go to fight Tabuu and destroy him once and for all!

Tabuu has been destroyed, but something doesn't feel right. This was only half of the story. The tokens are taken from the characters and a replica of Galeem and Dharkon are created. The particles of Tabuu fall on the statues and bring them to life. With their tokens back and the power of Tabuu they are more powerful than they were before.

Galeem and Dharkon defeated once and for all every single fighter goes back to their homeworlds. The spirits were returned to normal and also returned. The world that Galeem and Dharkon had created originally was destroyed along with the tokens. The tokens power though went into the fighters keeping the balance and not letting any other threats get in. The end to Super Smash Bros.
