I graduated high school in June of 2022. Throughout high school, I challenged myself with AP and honors classes while navigating learning through a global pandemic. I'm choosing to pursue an education at Dominican because of the high level academics, detail placed on each individual student, and the opportunity to create an amazing culture on the inaugural lacrosse team. Currently, I am an Education major with hopes of specializing in sports administration or special education. I added a sports management minor in Spring of 2023 as my aspirations of becoming a coach were sparked by coaching a 4th and 5th grade lacrosse team. I have always loved being around children and the idea of helping teach the next generation, in both the classroom and on a field, feels special and important to me.

I began playing lacrosse when my dad signed me up for a camp run by then high school varsity players when I was in 2nd grade. I fell in love with the sport because of how team oriented it is, as each player on the field is needed to succeed in games. During my senior season, my team made it all the to the State championship, getting runner-up. Lacrosse provides an outlet for me to use my competitive nature to perform at my highest ability. I have gained skills in teamwork, time management, discipline, and self-motivation over my 13-year career. There is so much more to team sports than accolades and championships, however, they prove to be a reward to thousands of hours of hard work and dedication put into the sport. I'm excited to be able to continue my athletic career at Dominican and hope to continue my successful career.
