Russell Wilke reviewed Transformers War for Cybertron Trilogy.  According to him, "The show is a little incoherent at times but in the end it makes sense. The dialogue isn't great at times and Optimus Prime's voice actor isn't great. If you are expecting a show about a heroic Optimus this is not for you.  This shows a disgruntled war commander instead of the regular Prime." He also mentioned that this show is best for Transformers fans.
