Are you wondering what's next for wrestling? You´ve come to the right place! At DMS one of the popular extra curricular activities is Wrestling. In this section of the Cardinal Chronicle I will show you the scoop on recent activity with this fun after school activity.

First things first, the team has some important dates coming up. Like the 23rd of January which is their meet against AMS and games at CMS, HMS and Westfield have all been scheduled. Secondly, the team is having a fundraiser to fund medical bills, the butter braid fundraiser is to help the family of Kylynn Larkin and support her and her family as she battles brain cancer. Please tell all your friends and family. Every donation counts! Lastly, one of the other things that this club offers is SPIRIT WEAR! Unfortunately though, the doors aren't open for this anymore. Though it has been said that if enough people are interested in it they may open the store a second time. 

The 8th Grade Girls basketball team had their first game January 24th at home against the Westfield Wolves. They played two games that night, and they were close. The first game, the end score was 12-22, and the second game’s end score was 10-6.  Despite winning the second 1/2 of the A game, the girls ended up coming up short in the end for their 1st home game. Zoe Mazza got to the free throw line 4 times, and scored 5 points. Great effort was put in by Narmeen Kattoum with several assists and 5 points  The B team won 10-6 and was led by Ava Delevski, Alli Brown and Brooke Wormsley. 

The game ended at 6:30.
