Textured Lanturn

This lantern was fun to make. I enjoyed looking and seeing all of the differnt patterns that were. It was hard to pick what patterns to do. After a long time of decind I choose to do a one with fish because it just stood out to me. It reminded me of this mexican restreant that my family goes to every once in a while so I knew I just had to pick it. Over all this project was a lot of fun and go me excited for what is to come in this year of art.

Carved Clay Tray

This tray was fun to make, but I ran into a few problems. I thought carving out the clay and picking out the design was fun. The trey was really truly fun to make but when I glazed the tray I thought it was going to turn out a lighter orange but it turned out brighter than I would have expected. So overall it I wish I would have glazed it a different color but I like everything else about the tray.

I had no Idea what I was doing I didn't know how I wanted to paint it onec I got an idea. To get my idea I just started to write out my initals and for on that I liked. Then for the fun part about It I decided to do a sun because I like the way the sun looks and suns just amke me feel happy. When I started to paint it I just added random things here and there. If I didn't like it I would just paint over it. I also tought of things that make me who I am. Places and people I come from. That is way I have a windmill and cow print. Over all it was not my favorit project but I did have fun with it.

Potery

I thought that this project was fun, I never did figure out how to center the clay but it was fun to try. I wish I could have sepent more time nad figure out how to make my cups bigger so they could hold morem but I never got there. When glasing i thought it was fun because you didn't really know what you were going to get and I liked that you had to wait and see how it turned out after glasing. So over all I enjoyed this project.
