Stained Glass

For this project, I first had to find a pattern that I liked, and so I went with a butterfly. Then I had to print out the pattern and cut each piece out. After each piece of the pattern was cut I picked out what colors of glass I wanted to use. Then I had to trace each piece of the paper pattern onto the color of the glass that I wanted that piece to be. After the shape was traced, I cut the glass out. After the glass was cut, I would use the grinder to grind it down futher if it needed to. After all the glass pieces were cut out and grinded. I had to foil them with copper and then put them together how they are supposed to go. After all the pieces are layed out how they are meant to be I sauder them together. After I am done saudering I let it cool, and then clean it up with windex, then I am done. I really love how it turned out and enjoy doing stained glass.Â
