For my first project of 2D Art was a self-portrait using pencil. I learned a very interesting technique for the hair using indentation to get highlights. I was inspired to not mess up my own appearance, and it's meaningful to me because it is me. The goal of this project was to make the drawing look like yourself, and I think that it does. I have gotten confirmation from my friends that they think it does too. The making of it went more smoothly than I hoped. I like the hair best, but I don't care for the shirt (which was the first thing that we were to work on). I will take my confidence from finishing this to the rest of my work this year.
