I am excited to do this project and know that it'll make an impact on little kids in Honduras. I know it will be challenging, and I hope I can put together something great to send off. I want to work hard for this picture and help cheer up Luis as well as his friends and family.
I think the most important aspect of this project is helping bring joy to the kids in Cambodia and to reflect God's love for his children in our art. I think this is considered worship since we are being the hands and feet of Jesus and caring for his creation. I would consider myself successful if I make a portait that looks very similar to my kid and will bring a smile to her face.
I enjoyed getting to test out the different types of drawing we could pick for our portraits. I at first wanted to do a colorful one and not pencil, but after these three weeks, I ended up liking my pencil one the most. I am going to use pencil for my final version of the project, and I am going to be intentional with my shading.
