This project we worked on for almost a month. We started with the shape of the face then moved onto details. I learned how to shade more properly and learned how to make proportions better. The hardest thing for me was the skin and hair, but most of it was really hard. I think the outcome of my drawing isn't as good as others but I'm glad I tried. I'm not very happy with how it came out, but I guess it shows where my strengths and weaknesses are.

I worked on this painting for a week and a half. I picked the food beignets which is a pastry with honey and powdered sugar on top. The main thing I struggled with was the little details where the bite of the food is supposed to be. My favorite part of this project was just painting and learning new things while painting. One of my favorite things about this project was the powdered sugar and the black background because I just really like how it turned out with the shading and how the black background makes the food pop out. In the end I am very happy with how it turned out and I think this painting made me realize how much I love painting! Ever since I finished this project it showed me how much I could actually do. Now I paint in my free time a lot more then I used to and some people are buying my art or asking for me to paint them something for money! So I am very happy with the result of this apinting and the result of where my life is right now because of this painting.

I finished my scratch art in a week and ended up doing two of them. I decided to scratch my dog that passed away because she was the most important dog I've ever owned. This wasn't too hard for me and i enjoyed doing this project. Because I chose my dog I wanted this to be perfect. I feel good about how it turned out, and I'm glad I picked this picture for my project. Exploring different art styles made me happy to try new things when doing art also.

This is the Disney castle i think in Florida. It took maybe 3 weeks at most and Im very proud of it. the shadowing and colors make me feel so accomplished for my work. it was stressful at times but i pushed through and im so proud of it. One of my favorite pieces yet.

this drawing took me about two weeks and im SO happy with it. I did two other ones as well. A yellow truck and a blue car at home. I am at the moment making another one for y cousins birthday; he got a dirt bike so i am making that. My favorite part of this drawing is just watching it get more and more completed was so satisfying. I am so happy with how it turned out and I think its one of my favorite projects we did this year.
