For my first art project in 2d art, I created a portrait of myself. This project was so much fun! for this project, we had to learn how to create fabric for our shirts,  how to blend in skin and how to draw our hair. My least favorite part of this project was drawing the freckles. They are hard to see, but I have so many that it took forever to do. My favorite part of this project was the hair and the eyes. I loved drawing the eyes because there is so much detail and it was just fun overall. I loved drawing the hair because the hair is what pulled the picture together and this was also just fun overall. I would recommend this project to everyone. It might not be everyone's favorite, but this was the first project in a while that was actually a challenge and I learned more about shading and I loved that I finally know how to do hair!
