for my final script, I decided to go with my second idea that I had written about. I feel like that idea was the most fleshed out one, and the one which I could use the most amount of detail as well as scriptwriting techniques for. This is because it has the most potential for a good and extensive script while also having plenty opportunity for dialogue between all the characters involved. it also isn't the first page of the script, which may not sound like a positive but actually allows me to focus more on the characters and dialogue rather than silent establishments of the scene, area and premise. the fact that it isn't a dramatic action scene or the end also helps me, for two different reasons: an action scene would require a heavy focus on action only and not much else, while the ending would be mainly reserved for plot developments and wrapping up loose ends, which wouldn't be engaging and more so confusing if those loose ends don't exist.
the script uses typical film script conventions for the most part, with the margins clear, the character names in the middle, parenthetical beside them, scenes have their own line and such. however there are some issues regarding the layout of the script, most glaring of which being the font. after I realised that my font was incorrect, I tried changing it but the font ruined my entire structuring of the script. next time I make a script I must be acutely aware of the font I utilize as to avoid this issue. more minor issues include the lines not being neatly lined up sometimes and the parenthetical not having a space in-between it and the name of the character.
I also have a review survey for the script, which should be right below. from this, I can gather feedback on my script which can assist me in my evaluation by providing an objective viewpoint onto my work.
