Flag football, creative cheerleading, and school spirit - where else would you rather be on a Tuesday night? Although the rain attempted to interfere, the annual Powderpuff game was still a hit.
The Senior girls started strong with Gabri Hallam scoring the first touchdown of the game. As the evening went on, the rain started, but the girls didn’t stop. Students took cover under the bleachers but returned to the stands to continue supporting their class. As it came closer to half-time, the seniors continued their lead with another touchdown by Allison Glaude.
During the famous halftime show, the Junior boys came in strong wearing their pink tutus. However, as the Seniors got in position, Mother Nature showed up with a torrential downpour.
Although most fans went home at halftime, the girls persevered and were determined to finish what they had started. Allison Glaude secured the senior's victory with an 85-yard touchdown and an extra point making the final score 19-0.
