Ho! Ho! Ho! It looks like the holiday spirit is back again and better than ever! Many Clarence families are spreading the holiday cheer by decorating indoors and outdoors for the holiday season. As I traveled across Clarence, I saw so many houses decked out in festive decorations and lights. There were many highlights from several different neighborhoods around Clarence and I’m going to share some of the very well-decorated light displays that I saw.
The Christmas season is officially in full swing. People decorate their Christmas trees, sing carols, and warm up the hot chocolate. This festive spirit can be found in iconic movies, old and new. Here are five of the best holiday movies for you to enjoy this season, including Elf!

The holiday season is here, and with it comes the music that makes everything feel festive and fun. Whether you’re wrapping gifts, sipping hot cocoa, or decorating the tree, Christmas songs set the perfect mood. This year, while the classics still dominate, fresh tracks and viral hits are also stealing the spotlight.
School
For the first year, Clarence High School participated in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. On Friday, December 6, students and staff from CHS made their way to Woodlawn Beach to jump into Lake Erie.
Clarence High School is home to countless clubs that are focused on promoting the voices of a strong student body. The Empower Club is a fitting example of just that. By setting a standard of inclusivity and building the foundations for future students, the Empower Club focuses on providing a safe environment where any and all members can discuss gender-related challenges and work towards breaking down societal barriers.

It’s an exciting time in the landscape of college football: we get to see teams that aren’t Alabama compete for a National Championship. Other than that, the big news this year was the expansion of the College Football Playoffs (CFP) bracket to include twelve teams, including the five highest ranked conference champions and the next seven highest ranked teams.
Injury is a part of every sport, from basketball, soccer, to football. However, concussions have been quite a topic of conversation in the NFL. These hits to the head have led to serious concussions. The NFL reported 219 concussions in 2023, but it’s lower than past years. The NFL will continue to make the game safer for athletes.

As politicians and parties fight for power, the public is left to watch as every move could change the future.
