Suggestion for Future Improvement
For the future SEA-Teachers, it would be better to enhance your language skills, especially if you are not already proficient in Filipino (Tagalog) or other local languages. This can improve your communication with students and colleagues. Besides that doing research and familiarize yourself with the Philippine education system, curriculum, and teaching methodologies before arriving is a must. This background knowledge can help you integrate more effectively into the local educational context.
