Purpose: Ethics Club runs weekly meetings where students can collaboratively discuss and debate moral issues. We enter teams into the Canadian Ethics Bowl, which is a competition that sparks collaborative and constructive dialogue on relevant global and personal ethical issues. The club is also responsible for running the In-House Northern Ethics Bowl which is very accessible to all students, and can get people interested in the club. These functions are extremely beneficial to students, and gives them an opportunity to practice critical thinking, ethical considerations, constructive dialogue, and public speaking.
