Student Fees

Every Fall, Northern asks that students contribute to student council by paying their student fees. We understand that $60 sounds like a lot from every single student, but every dollar goes back into enriching the clubs, associations, and sports teams. We compile all the money, then distribute it to each of the clubs and associations, allowing them to spend it on resources for activities and meetings.

Budget Requesting

Clubs

Have existed at Northern for less than 10 years
First-year clubs can ask for up to $300 in their first year
Maximum funding of $800

Associations

Have been at Northern for more than 10 years (eg. BAA, GAA, Buddies)
No limit on the amount of budget they can ask for
Have been nominated and approved by SAC Exec to gain association status
